entering TICK size
New SYMBOL Settings

When you load WaveTrader for the first time to a new SYMBOL it will first ask you to set the session times, when the start and finish times have been entered a MENU will appear and ask you to set the TICK size. Using your mouse click on the key pad displayed to enter the value then click on OK. You will then be asked to select a display format for the SYMBOL between 4 decimal places and zero decimal places.

The ES tick size is 0.25 and the format is 2 decimal places #.##

The ES trades in 0.25 ticks so the setting for it would be  0.25 and a display of  #.##,  a stock that trades in 1 cent ticks (for instance $18.05) would require a ticker value of 0.01 and a display of  #.##,  these settings must be TICKER defined as the computer code handles maths in precision format to 8 decimal places. If you do not set the display format you will end up with numbers like 111.99999999 for swing values.

TICK VALUES can be re-edited anytime by using the HIDE button and selecting the T. Size button.
