FAQ's


 
Question 1:     My WaveTrader ASSISTANT or Cash Indices is slow to load or engage the EFS files.  WHY?

Answer:
This is an eSignal server issue most of the time and can be usually solved by shutting down eSignal and rebooting again.

But what you can do first is to engage your eSignal DATA MANAGER and reset the DB's prior to a reboot. Usually any problem with eSignal incoming data  can be solved with this procedure.









 V10 release

Question 2: Should I upgrade to V10 eSignal at the present time?

Answer:
The V10 eSignal will run our programs OK with our upgrade version MkIII but from our testing the V10 has some minor issues that can become very frustrating in times of fast markets. So far to date eSignal are up to r4 release V10.

This stems from the way the new V10 manages memory and it needs to be improved in our opinion.

For now our recommendation is to remain using the V8 eSignal - there was not a V9 release.






 UPGRADES

Question 3: I purchased an earlier version of the WAVE TRADER or the ASSISTANT prior to the Mk III versions.

Answer:
The WT MkIII upgrades are available FOC to people who bought the the software in year 2007 or more recently. If you contact us we will clarify your status on this issue.

Early versions of WT Mk II or Mk I  have an upgrade fee of A$1000.
The WT ASSISTANT will be upgraded in this fee if you purchased it at the same time or at a later date.
