WD Gann and RN Elliott were pioneers in ratio analysis as we attempt to apply it today.

The geometry we use is pure science in the respect that perfect geometric patterns can only form from one pattern evolving into another.

Whether this design is preordained or just a way of human nature attempting to follow a path for knowledge that was practiced by the ancients is not really for me to say.

All I know is that the markets seem to act and react on pure geometric levels due to the practices of people prepared to act on such signals.

If they are dealing with something that was preordained or just acting on some personal discoveries they think will work is very difficult to say.

All I know is that markets seem to run to certain geometric levels and then they are repelled away from them for no apparent reason a lot of the time.

As a trader I am not prepared to say why it is so, but I am prepared to use the knowledge to act when I see the same things repeating that I know were repetitions in the past.

Who knows why it works BUT IT DOES.

My view is if you find something that works you should go with it until it does not work anymore.

In the past 25 years I have not found periods of any length where the principles of geometry between waves of similar degree have not proven to exist.

I can also say from my experience in the trading industry that I cannot envisage any time soon or in the future where the geometric principles we follow will ever change or fail to repeat.
